Power Ranch in Gilbert has been named Readers’ Choice for best masterplanned community on the third annual azcentral.com’s Best list. The 1,414-acre community is located at Power and Germann roads.
AZcentral.com’s Readers’ Choice Best list is bassed on viewer nominations and voting in more than 130 categories. Also, a Critics’ Picks list features selections from staff critics and experts from dining, nightlife and music to style and outdoors.
Power Ranch has been a popular choice with home buyers since it opened in 2000 for its family amenities, schedule of programs and activities and a closeknit community feel. There are also acres of usable open space including 100-plus acres of turf, 25 central neighborhood and greenbelt parks and a 10-acre soccer complex for kids’ play and neighborhood gatherings. A 26-mile trail system weaves through eleven neighborhoods connecting parks and community amenities. In addition, there are two community clubhouses with pools and picnic facilities, two catch-and-release fishing lakes and volleyball and basketball courts.
