Links magazine has named Blackstone at Vistancia among its picks for “America’s Premier Properties 2009”.
The exclusive list, appearing in the February/March issue, is said to be the most comprehensive and authoritative guide to the best golf communities in the United States.
Featuring 10 categories to help readers narrow their search, depending on the amenity most important to them, Blackstone was recognized in the “Best for Golf” category.
“The Jim Engh golf experience at Blackstone is exciting, enjoyable and unlike any other in the northwest Valley,” said Curt Smith chief operating officer for Sunbelt Holdings, the developer of Blackstone with Shea Homes. “A round of golf on the Blackstone course is a memorable event.”
Sheer rock faces, wildly undulating fairways and cavernous bunkers are among the natural features that make the course so exciting. Engh, who is known for transforming some of the most challenging landscapes into world-class golf courses, pushed the limits of Blackstone’s design. Each hole offers its own distinctive attributes from lakes and serpentine bunkers to nearly hidden greens and towering rock walls.
Blackstone at Vistancia is a 590-acre private, gated community that offers a true country club experience for every member of the family. It is located west of Lake Pleasant Road and north of Happy Valley Parkway within the award-winning Vistancia.
