Blackstone at Vistancia: Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia Raises Record $60,248 for Singleton Moms Fundraising Golf Event

PEORIA, Ariz. (May 1, 2013)- The Blackstone Country Club Singleton Moms Charity Golf Tournament raised a record $60,248, a five percent increase over last year, to provide funds for local single parents who are battling cancer.

This year marked the third tournament hosted by Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia, located within the 7,100-acre Vistancia master plan in Peoria. The non-profit organization is dedicated to bringing hope, help and support to struggling single parents in Maricopa County who are fighting the disease.

Singleton Moms was founded in 2006 by two Valley women who watched their childhood friend, Michelle Singleton, succumb to cancer.  Blackstone Country Club members and local businesses donated to play the award-winning Jim Engh designed golf course, enjoy an awards lunch and silent auction at the club.

Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia offers unique experiences and resort-style amenities for every member of the family located in a magnificent setting featuring a pristine natural desert backdrop, spectacular mountain vistas, and gently sloped hills surrounded by nature’s stunning beauty.
