GILBERT, Ariz. (December 20, 2013) – The 2,084-acre Power Ranch master planned community has completed its single family home development with the final home closing at Shea Homes Lantana at Power Ranch community.
The award-winning master plan, located at Power and Germann roads in Gilbert, opened in 1999 with Trilogy at Power Ranch, its active adult neighborhood.
The remaining builder at Power Ranch is Blandford Homes, offering an attached home triplex community, The Lofts, starting from the high $170s.
At final build out planned for fall 2014, Power Ranch will encompass 12 neighborhoods built by 19 builders in 39 subdivisions. Currently, a total of 7,035 residential units include 4,342 single family homes, 2,035 active adult homes and 764 apartments.
The developer planned community amenities and events to encourage residents of Power Ranch to venture outdoors to get to know each other, creating a more tightly-knit community in the process. The active family lifestyle with amenities for children and adults, is enhanced by more than 200 acres of open space, 26 miles of loop trails and 29 parks of various sizes including greenbelt playgrounds.
Additional amenities include two community clubhouses with meeting rooms and catering kitchens, two catch-and-release fishing lakes, large swimming pools, a shallow play pool, splash fountain, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, soccer fields, and picnic ramadas.
Schools, stores and offices are integrated throughout the community. Corridors of green are enhanced by more than 100 acres of turf, over 12,000 trees and 120,000 bushes.
