Three Sunbelt Holdings Communities Included Among Arizona’s Best in Local Poll

Three master planned communities developed by Scottsdale-based Sunbelt Holdings have been named to “Ranking Arizona: The Best of Arizona Business.” “Ranking Arizona” is the largest business opinion poll in Arizona with participants voting on quality of product, service and customer satisfaction in more than 200 business and leisure categories.

Vistancia in Peoria was named Best Master Planned Community in Arizona, Power Ranch in Gilbert was named Best Master Planned Community in Maricopa County and Johnson Ranch in Queen Creek received second place for Best Master Planned Community in Southern Arizona as well as Arizona.

“The recognition is a testament to the viability of these communities,” said Sunbelt Holdings’ President and CEO John Graham. “Blending livable design with family amenities has proven to be a winning combination and one that is very attractive to today’s home buyers.”

Vistancia is a 7,100-acre community offering three lifestyle villages—Vistancia Village, Trilogy at Vistancia and the private Blackstone at Vistancia—with a variety of upscale and family amenities in each village. It has its own retail center, Vistancia Marketplace, anchored by a large grocery chain store and many service-oriented businesses.

Situated on 1,414 acres, Power Ranch has long been known for its family-friendly atmosphere and sense of community. While two clubhouses, each with catch-and- release fishing lakes, highlight the amenities, residents most value the 240 acres of open space and greenbelt parks and a 26-mile trail system that weaves through neighborhoods connecting them with the community’s parks and other amenities.

Johnson Ranch is a 2,000-acre community featuring three recreation centers and many parks including one with a field for recreational softball and two with soccer fields. In addition, the Greens Park offers a private, nine-hole Pitch & Putt course. The Golf Club at Johnson Ranch is an 18-hole championship desert-style course located at the base of the San Tan Mountains.
